These comprehensive curriculum packages are aimed at programming your Tello drone to fly missions from your computer or mobile device. Two versions are available:

* BASIC (7-Units) for grades 4-6
* ADVANCED (14-Units) for grades 7-12

A set of classroom Tello drones are required to successfully utilize this curriculum. The suggested ratio is 1 drone per 3-4 students. See the info below for the Tello drone packages we offer.

This comprehensive curriculum begins with lessons concerning drone configurations, terminology, history, and the physics of flight. After being introduced to the amazing capabilities of the Tello drone, your students will be given an overview of programming concepts and conventions. Units 6 and 7 focus on drag-and-drop methods using Scratch and DroneBlocks, a fun level of programming that is perfect for elementary grades (4-6). The ADVANCED version of the curriculum (grades 7-12) continues to introduce the concept of text programming with Swift, Python, and JavaScript languages. The next Unit includes activities using the newly-released RoboMaster TT (an advanced version of the Tello). Finally, the students are shown the Virtual Reality capabilities of the Tello and are introduced to flying the Mission Pads and drone “swarming.”

This PROGRAMMING CURRICULUM requires Tello drones. The drones are available from several online sources, however we offer several packages that include extra props, batteries, prop guards, and chargers … everything you need to get up and flying!! See the link below …

The basic (white) Tello is perfect for in-class flying activities and drag-and-drop programming but it is NOT programmable with text-based languages such as Swift, Python, and JavaScript.

The BASIC version of the PROGRAMMING CURRICULUM (7 Units) works with drag-and-drop programming ONLY while the ADVANCED version (14 Units) references both drag-and-drop and text-based languages.

These are great camera drones, with models capable of advanced flight maneuvers and programming. The Tello drone is specifically needed for our DRONE PROGRAMMING CURRICULUM. We offer various packages for the Tello.
